Your key responsibility will be to create comprehensive and individualized Medical Plans, prioritizing a student with seizure needs while also addressing the broader health concerns of all students requiring accommodation.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active RN license in the state
• Prior experience in school nursing is essential
• Strong background in managing seizure protocols and emergency response
• Capacity for independent onsite work and collaborative consultation
• Excellent communication skills to liaise between students, families, and educational staff
• Commitment to best practices in student health and wellness

Responsibilities:

• Assess and identify students with medical needs within the virtual school population
• Develop and implement tailored Medical Plans for students, with a primary focus on seizure management
• Provide onsite consultation, collaborating with school administrators and staff
