This flexible contract role will place you at the heart of student healthwhether covering school health rooms, supporting field trips, or stepping in during staff absences. Youll work across multiple schools, most often elementary campuses, where your clinical skills and adaptability will make a critical difference.
What Youll Need to Bring:
- Active RN license in Missouri and current CPR certification
- Background in Pediatrics, ICU, School, or ER nursing strongly preferred
- Adept with technology; comfortable learning charting systems and multitasking
- Reliable transportation for travel between locations within the district
- Willingness to complete fingerprinting (per district requirements)
- Professionalism and confidence operating as the sole nurse in a clinic
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized care for students, including 1:1 support on field trips
- Independently manage the health clinic, assessing and responding to student needs
- Accurately document encounters via computer-based charting
- Adapt quickly to new environments, picking up shifts as notified via an app
- Become familiar with and adhere to district policies and procedures (comprehensive training provided)
