This contract opportunity is ideal for a Registered Nurse (RN) seeking meaningful work within schools, providing essential care and collaborating with a team of dedicated professionals.

Your assignment will cover for a nurse who is on leave from November 30, 2026, to January 12, 2027, with the possibility of an extension. You'll enjoy a consistent schedule from approximately 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, and the chance to work with diverse student populations as you travel between multiple sites. The travel schedule is semi-predictable, with some flexibility to respond to changing student needs each week.

Desired Qualifications:

• Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California.
• School nursing experience preferred, or clinical/pediatric RN background.
• Ability to travel between multiple educational sites as part of the workday.
• Strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills.
• Flexibility and adaptability to varying routines and locations.
• Bonus: Audiometry certificate (not required) to perform hearing tests for IEPs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care, including medication administration, first aid, and emergency interventions.
• Monitor student health status and medical needs.
• Support the completion of required health documentation and records.
• Collaborate with educators, families, and school teams to support student well-being.
• Adapt to a rotating site schedule to ensure coverage where needed most.
• If certified, conduct audiometry screenings for IEPs.
