Youll collaborate with educational teams and provide essential health services throughout the school year, supporting a diverse caseload of approximately 1,000 students.
If you hold a California CSN credential (or are willing to obtain it), youll thrive working closely with this dynamic school community. The role is set to begin as soon as possible and runs through the end of the 2026-2027 academic year, with a consistent schedule of 37.5 hours each week across five days.
What You Need to Bring:
- Active RN license and BSN
- CA CSN credential (or openness and eligibility to attain it)
- Strong ability to work with students spanning kindergarten to grade 12
- Excellent communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills
- Flexibility in supporting three school campuses
- Previous experience in a school nursing or pediatric setting preferred
Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:
- Managing the health needs of approximately 1,000 students across three sites
- Assessing and addressing health issues, administering medications, and developing individualized healthcare plans
- Responding to health emergencies and providing first aid as needed
- Collaborating with school staff and families to promote a safe, healthy environment
- Maintaining accurate health records and ensuring compliance with state regulations
