Desired Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California
• Proven experience in school health environments or similar pediatric settings
• Proficiency in g-tube care and medication administration
• Strong organizational and assessment skills
• Compassionate approach to student-centered care
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary school teams

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver daily nursing services, including medication administration and first aid
• Oversee care for students with specialized health needs, such as g-tube management
• Respond promptly to health emergencies and provide evidence-based interventions
• Maintain thorough documentation in accordance with school policies and regulations
• Conduct health screenings, monitor immunization compliance, and serve as a resource for health-related issues
• Educate students and staff on maintaining optimal health and wellness
• Communicate clearly and compassionately with parents and caregivers
