Job Description
Embark on a fulfilling contract role supporting students across three school sites. This assignment, starting as soon as possible and extending through the end of the 2026-2027 school year, offers the chance to work closely with K-12 students, providing both direct care and health support for a caseload of approximately 1,000 students.
Your day-to-day will span five days per week, totaling 37.5 hours across the school week. Youll coordinate health services, promote wellness, respond to student needs, manage medication administration, and be a key contact for families and staff regarding student health matters.
Qualifications we seek:
- Active RN license and BSN degree
- California CSN credential, or the willingness to obtain one
- Experience in school nursing or pediatric care preferred
- Adaptability to serve a diverse student population
- Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
In this assignment, your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering health assessments and direct care for K-12 students
- Developing and implementing individualized healthcare plans
- Managing chronic health conditions, emergencies, and immunization documentation
- Serving as a resource for staff on student health and wellness
- Communicating effectively with families across the three-supported school sites
This position features an hourly pay between $45 and $55, depending on your experience and credentials.
