Qualifications:
- Masters, Specialist, or Doctorate in School Psychology
- Active CDE Special Service Provider License in School Psychology
- Prior school experience is required
- Strong student assessment, communication, and crisis management skills
- Proficiency with modern computer technology
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver group and individual counseling tailored to IEP mental health goals
- Design and implement interventions at individual, group, or systemic levels
- Conduct comprehensive IEP assessments (cognitive, social, emotional, behavioral)
- Participate actively in special education planning, team meetings, MTSS, and professional development
- Provide critical crisis management, suicide risk, and threat assessments
- Collaborate with families, educators, and external agencies
- Offer psychoeducation and consultation to staff, students, and families
- Support general and special education students with behavioral and social skills training
