This contract position, conveniently located near Aurora, IL, offers the opportunity to work full-time with 6th to 8th graders, focusing on guiding students toward their fullest potential.

Your primary role will be to conduct re-evaluations for a caseload of 35-70 students throughout the entire academic year. Youll collaborate closely with educational staff, parents, and multidisciplinary teams, providing important insights to support students social, emotional, and academic development.

What were seeking:

• Valid certification as a School Psychologist
• Experience working in schools, preferably with middle school-aged children
• Strong skills in conducting student assessments and re-evaluations
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and families
• Strong organizational and time management abilities
• Knowledge of federal and state special education regulations
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and caseload needs

Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting comprehensive re-evaluations for assigned students
• Completing all necessary documentation and reports within required timelines
• Participating in IEP meetings, team consultations, and student support sessions
• Collaborating with teachers and administrators to develop student interventions
• Supporting and advising school staff and families on best practices in student mental health and learning
• Maintaining confidentiality and upholding ethical standards for all student interactions
