Job Description

Step into a vital role supporting K-12 students with significant needs as a contract School Psychologist. This position focuses on in-person assessments for learners with intense disabilities, including those who are non-verbal, physically impaired, or utilize assistive technology for communication. Your expertise will make a meaningful difference in the lives of students across multiple school sites during the academic year from August 12, 2026, through May 21, 2027.

Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid certification as a School Psychologist.
• Experience working with K-12 populations, with an emphasis on students with significant disabilities.
• Familiarity and comfort with diverse assessment tools, including those for non-verbal communicators and AT devices.
• Strong ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and adapt to varying caseloads.
• Willingness to travel between several school sites as needed.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Core Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for students with intense needs.
• Develop, interpret, and present results to support individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Partner with teachers, therapists, families, and administrators to create actionable recommendations.
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district, state, and federal guidelines.
• Flexibility in adapting to changing caseloads and site assignments within the district.
• Additional caseload and assignment details to be discussed during the interview process.
