Qualifications:

  • Masters, Specialists, or Doctorate degree in School Psychology
  • Active CDE Special Service Provider License endorsement in School Psychology
  • Previous experience providing school-based psychological services required
  • Strong student assessment and data interpretation skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication abilities
  • Collaborative and flexible professional approach
  • Calm presence during challenging situations, with effective problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency with technology and digital service documentation

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and group counseling services for students with IEP mental health goals
  • Develop and implement academic, social, and behavioral interventions
  • Provide written documentation: progress reports, service logs, and IEP goals tracking
  • Collaborate with outside service providers, teachers, administrators, and families
  • Conduct suicide risk and threat assessments, plus develop crisis and safety support plans
  • Complete cognitive, social, emotional, and behavioral evaluationsfor IEP assessments
  • Participate in IEP, special education, and multidisciplinary meetings
  • Offer academic and behavioral consultation, home/wellness visits, and professional development for staff
  • Assist with MTSS initiatives and provide relevant community resources
  • Support both special education and general education students with evidenced-based interventions
