In this vital position, you will provide comprehensive psychological services to students with significant needs, including those who are non-verbal, physically impaired, or utilize assistive technology devices for communication. This in-person role involves conducting detailed assessments and collaborating with a district committed to inclusive education.

Key Qualifications:

• Current certification or licensure as a school psychologist (eligibility in Kansas required)
• Demonstrated experience working with K-12 students, particularly those with intense or complex disabilities
• Skilled in administering assessments and interpreting results for a range of abilities, including non-verbal communication and use of assistive technology
• Strong interpersonal, consultative, and communication skills for effective team collaboration
• Flexibility to travel between multiple district sites as needed
• Ability to create supportive, accessible environments that foster student growth

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psycho-educational assessments for students across multiple campuses
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Participate in eligibility and evaluation meetings, offering expertise in complex cases

• Provide recommendations and strategies for interventions, accommodations, and access to assistive technology
