Job Description
Exciting opportunity available for skilled School Psychologists to make a meaningful impact in elementary and middle school settings. Provide essential in-person support to students and staff, fostering a positive learning environment and promoting student well-being. This position begins as soon as possible and extends through June 9, 2027, offering consistent, full-time hours of 7 hours per day (lunch break not included), totaling 35 paid hours each week.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with elementary and/or middle school students
- Knowledgeable in assessment, counseling, and intervention strategies
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to provide culturally competent services
- Bilingual skills are highly valued and considered a plus
- Commitment to supporting the unique needs of a diverse student population
Position Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide crisis intervention and mental health counseling
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student learning
- Offer recommendations for academic and behavioral interventions
- Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings and support special education processes
- Maintain accurate and confidential documentation
- Help create a safe and inclusive school culture for all students
