This in-person role places you in either an elementary or high school setting for the duration of the assignment (not itinerant), allowing for meaningful connections and impactful service. Your expertise in school-based evaluations and behavioral interventions will make a measurable difference for students, all while advancing your own expertise in assessment coordination and ABA-based instructional strategies.
Qualifications:
- Active Educational Staff Associate (ESA) certification in School Psychology (Washington State)
- Preferred: Prior experience as a school psychologist or closely related role in a public school setting
- Successfully pass fingerprint background check
- Strong skills in evaluation, report preparation, and special education team collaboration
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct 50-60 student evaluations per year as assessment coordinator
- Deliver behavioral assessment and intervention services (BIPs, AIPs, FBAs with ABA/Discrete Trial Training foundations)
- Prepare comprehensive reports for the special education team
- Serve a consistent caseload in either elementary or high school for the full assignment
- Potentially cover multiple buildings within assigned campus
