Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in American Sign Language and interpreting in educational settings
  • Current EIPA score of at least 3.5
  • Experience as a Sign Language Interpreter in schools preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Provide interpretation services for students who are deaf or hard of hearing in classroom and school environments
  • Translate classroom instruction, discussions, and student questions
  • Foster an inclusive, supportive learning environment
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and other interpreters to ensure student success
  • Maintain accurate records of interpreting sessions
