Job Description
Make a meaningful difference in young learners lives by bringing your expertise in speech-language pathology to a vibrant PreK and Kindergarten setting. This onsite contract position provides a unique opportunity to support approximately 25-35 students as they develop critical communication skills in a supportive school environment.
Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Holds an active SLP license (or is willing to obtain California licensure if coming from out of state)
- CCC-SLP certification required
- Direct experience working in school-based settings, particularly with PreK and Kindergarten populations
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and educators
- Demonstrated commitment to fostering language development and student success
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality speech-language therapy services to a diverse caseload of young students
- Administer assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and monitor progress regularly
- Consult with teachers, parents, and allied professionals to implement best practices supporting student communication goals
- Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Contribute to multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive educational support
