This rewarding contract opportunity seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) who is passionate about fostering growth and removing barriers to learning for diverse student populations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology (or eligibility to obtain)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience working in schools or with pediatric populations preferred
- Solid understanding of IEP documentation and special education processes
- Effective communication skills for working with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Adaptable, positive, and organized approach
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech-language evaluations and develop individualized therapy plans
- Deliver engaging evidence-based therapy sessions to students with speech, language, and communication challenges
- Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to optimize student outcomes
- Complete required assessment reports, progress notes, and documentation in a timely manner
- Attend IEP meetings and contribute as an expert resource
- Consult on communication strategies and materials to support inclusion and educational access
