Step into an exciting contract opportunity supporting elementary-aged students as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist in the Douglasville, GA area. Your expertise will be vital in assessing, diagnosing, and providing therapy for students with speech, language, and communication needs. Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and educational staff to create individualized treatment plans, foster student progress, and promote an inclusive learning environment.
What you'll bring:
- Active Georgia SLP license required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience in elementary school settings strongly preferred
- Skill in delivering speech and language therapy to groups and individuals
- Commitment to documentation, IEP participation, and collaborative communication
Responsibilities include:
- Managing a full-time elementary-aged caseload
- Developing and implementing personalized treatment plans
- Participating in IEP meetings, contributing goals and progress updates
- Conducting assessments and timely documentation
- Consulting with educators and families to support students' communication growth
This position offers a workweek of 35 hours, Monday through Friday, with interviews being scheduled promptly to secure the role.
Compensation for this role ranges between $45 and $50 per hour and weekly pay ensures consistency and peace of mind.
