Job Description

Step into a rewarding school-based opportunity as an onsite Speech-Language Pathologist supporting students from preschool to 8th grade. This contract role is ideally suited for passionate and fully credentialed SLPs who thrive in a collaborative, engaging educational environment.

With your expertise, youll empower students to develop communication skills crucial for success both in and out of the classroom. Youll work a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, with 37.5 billable weekly hours. The position begins August 4 and runs through June 4, providing the chance to make a meaningful impact over the academic year.

Key qualifications:

  • Active, state-issued Speech-Language Pathologist credentials required
  • Previous experience in a school setting strongly preferred
  • Bilingual skills are highly desired to best support our diverse student body
  • Experience managing a caseload of up to 55 students, ranging from ages 3 to 8th grade
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Core responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy to students, targeting individualized goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to develop and implement IEPs
  • Maintain thorough and timely documentation in accordance with district and federal guidelines
  • Participate in assessments, team meetings, and parent conferences as needed
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive atmosphere for all learners

Compensation for this role ranges from $50$65 per hour, reflecting experience and expertise.
