Key Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Licensure to practice as an SLP in Wisconsin (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Previous experience in a school environment is highly valued
  • Ability to collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families
  • Strong assessment, intervention, and documentation skills
  • Excellent communication, organization, and time-management abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech, language, and communication evaluations for students from diverse backgrounds
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address speech and language disorders
  • Collaborate with educators to integrate language goals into the classroom environment
  • Participate in IEP meetings and case conferences, providing expertise on speech/language needs
  • Document student progress, maintain records, and prepare required reports
  • Provide guidance and resources to teachers and families to support students ongoing development
  • Stay current with best practices and maintain continuing education as required
