Job Description
Make a meaningful impact as an onsite Speech-Language Pathologist, providing essential services to students from preschool through 8th grade. This full-time contract assignment runs from August 4 to June 4, offering a consistent schedule of Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM (37.5 hours weekly, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch).
You'll have the rewarding opportunity to support a diverse caseload of up to 55 students, fostering communication, language, and social skills development. Collaboration with teachers, educational staff, and families is key in helping students achieve their full potential.
What you'll need to succeed:
- Current and valid Speech-Language Pathology credential
- Experience working with school-aged populations, from ages 3 through middle school
- Strong understanding of IEP processes and documentation
- Effective communication, organization, and teamwork abilities
- Bilingual candidates are highly preferred
What the work will involve:
- Assessing, diagnosing, and providing direct therapy for students with speech and language disorders
- Developing and implementing treatment plans tailored to individual student needs
- Maintaining required documentation and student records in a timely manner
- Participating in and contributing to IEP meetings
- Liaising with teachers, staff, and families to ensure coordinated support
