CASELOAD: K-12 Students
COMPENSATION: $35.00 - $40.00 / hour (Paid weekly)
SETTING: Onsite (Working collaboratively with a Virtual Occupational Therapist)

QUICK SUMMARY
ProCare Therapy is hiring a full-time contract Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a school-based position in Hoquiam, Washington, starting immediately and running through June 16, 2027. In this unique role, you will work onsite directly with K-12 students while collaborating and partnering with a remote, virtual Occupational Therapist (OT) to deliver services. School-based experience is highly preferred for this position.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Deliver Therapy: Provide onsite occupational therapy interventions to K-12 students under the structural guidance of a virtual OT.
* Implement IEPs: Support student progress toward fine motor, sensory-motor, and daily living skills goals outlined in their IEPs.
* Virtual Collaboration: Maintain consistent, clear communication and partnership with the remote supervising OT.
* Onsite Management: Set up therapy spaces, assist students with equipment, and manage physical materials during sessions.
* Document Progress: Keep detailed, compliant notes on student attendance, performance, and daily therapeutic progress.

QUALIFICATIONS
* Education: Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
* Licensure: Active COTA license/certification in the state of Washington.
* Experience: Previous school-based or pediatric experience is strongly preferred.
* Skills: Comfortable utilizing basic technology to communicate effectively with a remote supervisor.
