Job Description
Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting K-8 students in a dynamic, contract-based role focused on delivering impactful occupational therapy services in the school setting. As a Voco OT, you'll use your expertise to help students thrive academically and personally, working in a flexible environment near Huachuca City, AZ.
Youll be supporting a small caseload of four students, allowing for individualized attention and meaningful therapy sessions. On-site hours are up to 7 per week, which can be scheduled as one day or distributed throughout the week to fit your lifestyle. School hours are from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM; you'll have ample flexibility to organize your time while making a real difference for the K-8th grade population.
Qualifications:
- Active Occupational Therapy (OT) license in Arizona
- Valid Arizona Fingerprint Card required
- Experience supporting students in school-based settings preferred
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and families
- Strong communication and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to K-8 students, tailored to their unique needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide direct and consultative services, both in-person and virtually as needed
- Track and document student progress, maintaining accurate and timely records
- Collaborate with educational teams to ensure holistic support for each student
- Participate in case conferences and contribute to student success plans
