This onsite position near Joliet, IL, focuses on supporting a manageable caseload of 25 students, each with unique strengths and challenges.

This role requires your presence three days per week, with Wednesdays as a fixed day and flexibility to select the other two days that fit your schedule. Youll collaborate with educators and support staff in an engaging school environment, ensuring students receive the highest level of speech and language support.

Key Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
• Current license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Illinois (or eligibility)
• Previous experience working with high school students preferred
• Strong understanding of various learning disabilities
• Proficiency in designing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Committed to serving onsite, from 8am to 3pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to a high school caseload of 25 students
• Assess, diagnose, and implement interventions for learning and communication needs
• Develop and update IEPs, documenting progress and setting achievable goals
• Participate in IEP meetings, collaborating with faculty, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Provide resources and guidance to families and educators
• Maintain accurate records and comply with school and state guidelines
