This position calls for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) who is passionate about making a daily impact. Located within a supportive educational environment near Menomonee Falls, WI, youll collaborate with faculty and families to provide exceptional speech and language services to children across various ages and abilities.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license in Wisconsin
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) required
- Previous school-based experience preferred but not mandatory
- Proficiency in conducting evaluations, developing individualized education plans (IEPs), and documenting progress
- Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students, interpreting data to inform intervention
- Develop targeted goals and implement individualized treatment plans that align with students educational needs
- Deliver therapy sessions, both individually and in group settings, to foster expressive/receptive language, articulation, fluency, or voice improvements
- Maintain clear documentation of each students progress and regularly communicate with teachers, parents, and other multidisciplinary team members
- Participate in IEP meetings, case conferences, and professional development as needed
- Adapt interventions and support to meet diverse student needs in an inclusive school environment
