Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting early childhood learners as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the area near Minneapolis, MN. In this onsite role, youll provide essential leave coverage for the Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) SLP for the remainder of the academic year, with potential summer evaluation duties.

We're seeking an experienced SLP who brings expertise in working within school settings and holds their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC). Youll play a key role in helping young students develop vital communication skills, collaborating closely with families, teachers, and interdisciplinary teams. Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current Minnesota SLP licensure
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
  • Previous pediatric or school-based SLP experience
  • Familiarity with early intervention, IEP and evaluation processes
  • Excellent interpersonal and documentation skills
  • Ability to work exclusively onsite

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy to early childhood students, addressing a range of communication needs
  • Conduct assessments and develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Complete evidence-based evaluations and progress monitoring
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to ensure holistic student support
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and compliance with district and state guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to a positive educational environment
