Job Description
A part-time Speech-Language Pathologist position is available to provide teletherapy services within a school setting, serving middle and high school students. This role offers a remote work environment and focuses on delivering high-quality speech-language support to address students' communication needs.
The position requires availability for approximately 21 hours per week across three days, with some flexibility in scheduling. The contract spans from September 8, 2026, through June 24, 2027. All services will be provided remotely, supporting students from one school building located in Auburn, NY.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting speech and language evaluations and assessments for middle and high school students.
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's goals.
- Delivering teletherapy sessions effectively to promote speech and language skill development.
- Collaborating with school staff and families to support student progress and integrate therapy strategies into the educational environment.
- Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of services provided, including progress notes and reports.
Preferred qualifications and experience:
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Experience providing teletherapy (remote speech therapy) in educational settings.
- Proven skills working with school-aged children, particularly at the middle and high school levels.
- Strong communication and organizational skills to manage remote therapy caseload efficiently.
- Ability to adapt therapeutic techniques to virtual platforms while engaging students effectively.
