Job Description
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available to provide telespeech and teletherapy services within K-12 educational settings. The position involves supporting students across all grade levels, delivering targeted speech and language interventions through virtual platforms.
Location: Bellevue, MI (services provided remotely)
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized therapy plans for students requiring speech and language support
- Deliver teletherapy sessions effectively, ensuring engagement and progress tracking
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to integrate speech goals within the classroom environment
- Maintain detailed records and documentation in compliance with educational standards
- Utilize technology tools to facilitate remote therapy services
Qualifications:
- Active ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) is required
- Valid Michigan state license to practice as an SLP; verification of licensure will be required
- Experience in telespeech or teletherapy services preferred
- Familiarity with K-12 speech/language development and intervention strategies
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote setting
Contract Details:
- Full-time contract, up to 40 hours per week
- Serving students from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Immediate availability preferred with contract duration through June 10, 2027
