Job Description
A virtual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to support middle school students through teletherapy services. This contract opportunity is based in Champlin, MN, with an onsite presence preferred but virtual work considered. The position offers a 0.8 FTE schedule, approximately 30 hours per week, running through June 8, 2026.
Responsibilities include assessing, diagnosing, and providing individualized speech therapy to students in a middle school setting. Effective communication skills tailored for virtual platforms, as well as collaboration with educators and families, are essential for delivering high-quality teletherapy services.
Qualifications:
- Active Minnesota Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license (no pending licenses)
- Experience delivering speech therapy to school-aged children, preferably in a middle school environment
- Proficiency with telepractice platforms and virtual therapy techniques
- Ability to comply with state regulations regarding workload limits, ensuring total work hours do not exceed 40 per week under Minnesotas 1.0 FTE law
- Reliable internet access for consistent virtual sessions, if working remotely
