Job Description
A virtual speech-language pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available to support schools in providing comprehensive speech therapy services. This contract position offers flexibility for full-time or part-time schedules and emphasizes telespeech and teletherapy modalities to assist with caseload relief.
Responsibilities include delivering direct therapy sessions, conducting student evaluations, and participating actively in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings. Additional duties involve case management for select students, ensuring continuity and quality of care throughout the educational process.
Key qualifications and experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) license in the state of Michigan
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology preferred
- Proven ability to provide telespeech and teletherapy services effectively
- Experience in school-based speech therapy settings is highly desirable
- Strong skills in case management and student progress documentation
- Comfortable managing a diverse caseload and collaborating virtually with educators and families
