Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist, providing expert support for a vibrant elementary school population from preschool through 6th grade. In this in-person role beginning early November, you'll offer essential speech therapy services and case management to a diverse group of young learners, all at a single, welcoming site.
Ideal candidates bring a strong skill set, whether you're a licensed SLP-CCC or an SLP-CFY eager to grow in the field. Youll be working with a manageable caseload43 students receiving services, including 22 for case managementand will support with three pending assessments at the start.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current California SLP license or eligibility
- SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY status accepted
- Previous pediatric or school-based experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate with educational staff and families
Your role will include:
- Delivering speech-language therapy tailored to individual student needs
- Managing a caseload of students, ensuring compliance with IEPs and documentation
- Conducting assessments and preparing timely, comprehensive reports
- Collaborating with teachers, support staff, and parents to promote students success
- Participating in case management for 22 students
- Completing three pending assessments and tracking ongoing progress
