Qualifications and Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Possession of a current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state licensure for practice as an SLP
- Previous experience within a school or pediatric setting is highly preferred
- Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Confidence in conducting assessments, developing IEP goals, and delivering both individual and group therapy
- Ability to communicate clearly with parents, staff, and administrators
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language services to students according to their IEPs
- Screen, assess, and diagnose speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop targeted intervention plans to help students reach communication milestones
- Collaborate with special education teams, classroom teachers, and families to ensure holistic student support
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with all regulatory and procedural standards
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide professional guidance for strategies within the classroom
