Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or related field
  • Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
  • Experience working with school-aged children (preferred)
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to develop rapport with students, faculty, and families

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders among students
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each students needs
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure comprehensive care and progress
  • Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, progress notes, and treatment outcomes
  • Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings and provide recommendations as needed
  • Contribute to a supportive and inclusive educational setting, adapting strategies to diverse student populations
