This contract opportunity calls for a Speech Language Pathologist who enjoys variety in their workweek, splitting time between a school setting and providing essential speech services to students who are medically homebound. The start date is August 25, 2026, continuing through June 8, 2027, offering flexible options for full-time (37.5 hours) or part-time schedules, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications:

• Active Delaware SLP license (please submit with your application)
• CCC-SLP certification required
• Previous experience in school-based settings preferred
• Comfortable adapting to changing caseloads and environments
• Compassionate approach to working with diverse student populations, including medically homebound youth
• Superior communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
• Resume submission required alongside license information

Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech and language therapy services to students in a school building as well as in homebound settings
• Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans based on student needs
• Collaborate closely with special education teams, teachers, and families
• Modify interventions and schedules as needed to best serve a fluctuating caseload
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation compliant with school and state standards
• Participate in meetings and contribute insights on student progress and recommendations
