Job Description

Make a meaningful impact working with young learners in a supportive school setting as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Engage with PreK and Kindergarten students in a contract position for the 2026-2027 school year and provide essential speech and language services that unlock brighter futures. This is a fulfilling, onsite role dedicated to serving approximately 25-35 vibrant early learners, fostering communication skills at a pivotal stage in their growth.

What we're looking for:

  • Holds (or is eligible for) a valid Speech-Language Pathologist license; out-of-state applicants welcomed if willing to apply for licensure in California
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) required
  • Experience in school-based settings, especially with early childhood populations, is highly valued
  • Strong interpersonal, organization, and communication skills
  • Compassion and enthusiasm for working with diverse student populations

Your contributions will include:

  • Delivering direct and consultative speech and language services for PreK and Kindergarten students
  • Conducting screenings, assessments, and evaluations to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborating closely with teachers, families, and the multidisciplinary team to support student success
  • Documenting progress and maintaining thorough, timely records in accordance with state and district guidelines
  • Offering support and resources to staff and families to enhance generalization of skills
