Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Associates or Bachelors degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant studies or related field
- Current SLPA license or eligibility to obtain in Virginia
- Previous experience (school setting preferred, but not required)
- Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to fast-paced environments
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language support to elementary students under the direction of a supervising SLP (virtual oversight)
- Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapy activities
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with educators, families, and virtual team members
- Rotate between two nearby school locations as assigned
