Make a meaningful impact supporting young learners in a full-time contract social work role serving children ages 3 to 5. Your expertise will help children navigate key early years, offering guidance and resources to set the foundation for social-emotional growth and academic success. From November 11, 2026, through February 11, 2027, youll work closely with staff and families to ensure every student receives the support they need.

Qualifications and Desired Background:

• Valid licensure as a school social worker or eligibility to obtain credentials
• Previous experience in a pre-K or early childhood educational setting preferred
• Familiarity with early intervention strategies and family engagement models
• Strong communication skills with young children, families, and interdisciplinary teams
• Ability to maintain confidentiality, demonstrate empathy, and manage sensitive situations

Responsibilities Include:

• Conducting individual and group social work sessions with students ages 35
• Collaborating with teachers, related service providers, and parents/guardians
• Developing, implementing, and documenting intervention plans and behavioral supports
• Assisting with crisis intervention and providing resources to families as needed
• Completing all required paperwork and reports in a timely manner
