In this role, youll collaborate with a passionate team at a dedicated learning center, providing high-level, individualized instruction and interventions for students with the most severe disabilities. A valid Minnesota Special Education Teacher license (Tier 3 or Tier 4) is required to ensure youre prepared for this rewarding experience.

Qualifications

• Active Minnesota Tier 3 or Tier 4 Special Education Teacher license (application will not be considered without this credential)
• Prior experience managing Setting 4 caseloads or working with students with severe/profound disabilities and high behavioral needs preferred
• Strong classroom management, de-escalation, and behavior intervention skills
• Ability to adapt curriculum and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for diverse learners
• Comfort working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including therapists, support staff, and administration

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, differentiated instruction according to each students IEP
• Develop and modify lesson plans to meet individual student needs
• Employ effective strategies for classroom and behavior management
• Collect and analyze student data to drive instructional decisions
• Maintain detailed records and communication with families and educational teams
