Required Qualifications:

• Current, valid Colorado Department of Education (CDE) Special Education Teacher License, Generalist Endorsement (521)
• Professional Teacher License as outlined: Endorsed in Special Education Generalist (521)
• Proof of application for SPED License with correct endorsement, if not yet issued
• Extensive experience in delivering instruction to students with diverse needs
• In-depth understanding of the Individualized Education Plan (IEP) process and collaborative teamwork
• Familiarity with a range of instructional strategies and interventions
• Not accepting candidates on Substitute, Temp, Interim Licenses, or hybrid/virtual arrangements

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, adapt, and implement individualized instructional plans for students with disabilities
• Design engaging lessons aligned with alternative and general educational standards
• Administer assessments and track student progress with data-driven strategies
• Collaborate with IEP team members, including families and related service providers, to ensure comprehensive support
• Participate actively in IEP meetings and maintain compliance with all special education regulations
