This position requires on-site instructionno hybrid or remote work is availableso you'll be directly engaged with your students and school community.

Ideal candidates have a current CDE SPED License with a Generalist Endorsement. Please note, only those with either this license or proof that it is actively being processed will be considered. Substitute, temporary, interim, or other license types cannot be accepted unless accompanied by this specific proof. Relevant license details should show: Professional Teacher License #000000, Endorsed in Special Education Generalist (5-21).

Qualifications:

• Valid CDE SPED License with Generalist Endorsement, or official documentation of application in progress
• Strong background in Special Education, specifically instructing and supporting students on alternative standards
• Deep understanding of the IEP process, including collaboration within the IEP team
• Experience designing and delivering Specially Designed Instruction and applying current instructional strategies
• Ability to commit to full-time, on-site work throughout the entire assignment period

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality instruction to students with diverse needs, following individualized education plans
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs, collaborating with families and multidisciplinary teams
• Employ evidence-based strategies and adapt lessons to meet unique student needs
