Qualifications & Requirements:
- Active and valid Alabama Special Education Teaching certification (required for interview consideration)
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education or a related field
- Previous experience working with students in special education settings preferred
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to develop and adapt individualized instruction to meet diverse learning needs
- Collaborative attitude for working with multidisciplinary teams, families, and support staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and adapt instructional materials for individualized education program (IEP) goals
- Assess and track student progress, adjusting strategies as needed for optimal growth
