Qualifications:
- Preferred: 2+ years of experience as a Special Education Teacher, ideally with PreK students
- Required: Current New York State Certification in Special Education
Or: Current New York State Level 3 Teacher Assistant Certification
Responsibilities:
- Lead and implement individualized education plans for PreK students in a readiness program
- Foster an inclusive, nurturing classroom environment that promotes learning and development
- Collaborate with fellow educators, families, and support staff to ensure holistic student support
- Track and report student progress, adapting strategies as needed
