This opportunity is located in the greater Denver area and runs from August 11th through May 21st.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid CDE Special Education (SPED) License with Generalist Endorsement, as specified: Professional Teacher License endorsed in Special Education Generalist (grades 5-21)
• Proof of license application accepted if proper endorsement process is underway; substitute, temporary, interim, or VOCO/hybrid licenses are not eligible
• Strong background in implementing Specially Designed Instruction and supporting students working on alternative standards
• Proven experience and comprehensive knowledge of the entire IEP process, with demonstrated success in collaborating within multidisciplinary IEP teams
• Advanced instructional practices, adaptive teaching strategies, and classroom management skills
• Effective communication skills with students, staff, and families

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and modify instructional programs to address the individual needs of students with disabilities
• Design and adapt materials for students on IEPs in varied educational settings
• Demonstrate expertise in writing, managing, and tracking IEP goals and progress
• Foster a supportive and structured classroom environment that encourages student growth
• Collaborate daily with general education staff, related service providers, and families to best support each learner
• Ensure compliance with state/federal guidelines and documentation requirements
