Job Description

Step into a dynamic educational environment supporting students with diverse developmental needs in a contract position at an expanded special education, center-based program. The Ready, Set, Launch program is dedicated to empowering elementary learnersparticularly those with autism and unique learning profilesin partnership with the districts specialized LAUNCH and DCD initiatives. This role covers the 2026-2027 school year with 37.5 hours each week, Monday through Friday.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Minnesota Special Education Teaching License (Tier 3 or Tier 4 required)
• Demonstrated experience working with elementary students with autism, developmental, or cognitive disabilities preferred
• Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to manage individualized education plans (IEPs) and track student progress
• Adaptability and commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive classroom environment

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction and support to elementary-level students in the Ready Set Launch program
• Develop and implement individual education plans in line with district and program standards
• Work collaboratively with other teachers, support staff, and therapists to meet each childs unique needs
• Monitor, document, and communicate student growth and developmental milestones
• Engage with families to foster strong homeschool partnerships and support ongoing student success
