Key Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education teaching certification (state-specific or eligible for reciprocity)

- Ability to adapt lesson plans, materials, and teaching strategies to accommodate various abilities
Role Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in close cooperation with IEP teams
- Create a supportive classroom environment that encourages student engagement and success
- Utilize evidence-based instructional methods and interventions tailored to each learner
- Track student progress, gather key academic and behavioral data, and adjust instruction as necessary
- Work collaboratively with paraprofessionals, general education teachers, and related service providers
- Provide clear communication with families regarding student progress, goals, and support strategies
- Participate in professional development and school meetings to contribute your expertise
