Qualifications & Experience
- Valid certification or licensure as a Special Education Teacher (high school level)
- Experience working with high school-aged students in a special education setting
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to fostering a supportive, inclusive classroom environment
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver specialized instruction to high school students with diverse learning needs
- Develop and adapt lesson plans tailored to individual education plans
- Track student progress, maintain accurate records, and report outcomes to parents and staff
- Engage collaboratively with general education teachers, families, and support staff
