Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid Special Education Teaching credential with a Cognitive Impairment (CI) endorsement
• Prior experience working in special education settings preferred
• Strong understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and adapt to different classroom needs

Responsibilities include:

• Providing instruction and support to students in a designated CI class
• Creating and implementing individualized lesson plans to meet student goals
• Monitoring student progress and adjusting strategies as needed
• Maintaining accurate records and collaborating on IEPs
• Participating in school meetings and ongoing professional development
