Key Qualifications:
- Valid teaching certification with a Cognitive Impairment (CI) endorsement
- Previous experience working in special education, preferably with Cognitive Impairment classrooms
- Deep understanding of IEP development and implementation
- Strong organizational and communication abilities
- Passion for creating inclusive, positive learning environments
Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead a full-time Cognitive Impairment classroom for the complete academic year
- Plan and deliver differentiated instruction to meet IEP goals of diverse learners
- Collaborate with staff, parents, and allied professionals to support student progress
- Foster a supportive and structured classroom culture promoting growth and independence
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with educational standards
