Job Description

Make a difference every day supporting elementary learners in a vibrant educational setting focused on students with Developmental and Cognitive Delays (DCD). This full-time, onsite contract position is ideal for passionate Special Education Teachers with expertise in DCD Centerbase programs and a commitment to fostering growth and inclusion.

This role provides the rewarding opportunity to deliver direct instruction, implement IEPs, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a supportive, innovative elementary school environment. Qualifications & Experience:
Current Minnesota Tier 3 or 4 Teaching Certification in Special Education (required; must be attached with resume)
Experience working with elementary-aged students with developmental and cognitive delays
Deep understanding of IEP development, implementation, and compliance
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster supportive relationships with students and families
Ability to adapt curriculum, instruction, and materials to meet a diverse range of learning needs
Commitment to equity, inclusion, and student-focused education

Key Responsibilities:
Instruct and support students in a Centerbase environment, tailoring lessons to individual educational goals
Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in partnership with families and professional teams
Create a structured, positive, and inclusive classroom culture
Collaborate closely with general and special education staff, therapists, paraprofessionals, and administrators
Foster strong partnerships with parents/guardians through regular communication and progress updates
Maintain accurate records and document student growth
