Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Special Education Teacher supporting the innovative "Ready, Set, Launch" program near Maple Grove, MN. Qualifications:

  • Current Minnesota Special Education Teacher license (Tier 3 or Tier 4 required)
  • Experience working with elementary-aged students with autism or other developmental differences strongly preferred
  • Strong skills in creating individualized learning strategies and adapting instructional approaches
  • Collaborative mindset to partner with multidisciplinary teams and families
  • Organized, flexible, and committed to student-focused solutions

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver specialized instruction and adapt curriculum to meet individual student needs within the Ready, Set, Launch program
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Closely monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as necessary
  • Foster a supportive, inclusive, and structured classroom environment
  • Communicate effectively with caregivers, colleagues, and support staff to ensure cohesive student support
  • Participate in regular team meetings and professional development as required
