Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Special Education Teaching Credential (or eligibility to obtain)
• Bachelors degree or higher in Special Education or related field
• Experience working with students with a variety of disabilities and learning needs
• Strong classroom management and behavior intervention skills
• Familiarity with developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to connect with students, families, and staff
• Ability to adapt instruction to meet students at their level

• Develop and implement effective lesson plans aligned with IEP goals
• Assess student progress and adjust instruction as necessary
• Collaborate with general education teachers, counselors, administrators, and other specialists
